The holidays are over and most of us are heading back to the first full week of work on Monday. Instead of letting the post-holiday blues and grey winter weather get you in a funk, this is a perfect time to start thinking and planning about where to travel in the New Year. What better way to do this then to attend the annual NY Times Travel Show, which will take place in January 18th -20th. In addition, the New York Times put out their annual Places to Visit article which gives many ideas on where to travel in 2013. how many times is the travel show in nyc? Would love to attend but have scheduled appointments. Are there travel opportunities for seniors and the disabled?

The NYTimes Travel Show occurs once per year. The prior two years have been in March, but this year it’s in January. Tour companies that I have used in the past such as http://www.smartours.com, http://www.friendlyplanet.come, and http://www.gate1travel.com had many senior travel participants on the trip. I don’t have any information on travel opportunities for disabled travelers, but hopefully those companies can provide information regarding this. Happy Travels!
